Rhythms of the Street
A residency at Footscray City College established a new partnership with Maribyrong Youth Services leading to the production of this excellent young-person driven work. Tibor Gede led a strong team to produce a play about a rap artist opposing gang violence in his community, based on a real-life story from Brazil. This powerful work was performed to sell-out crowds at the Phoenix Youth Centre and involved music, dance and VJ-ing.
